itunes freezes every time I open it.

I get a spinning globe every time I open itunes on my mid-2012 fully loaded MacBook Pro with OS X 10.10.3. I deleted and reinstalled it repeatedly with the same result. There are no other problems with hardware or software.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Latest version iTunes
