Airport Extreme 801 AC sorta rocks with FIOS Purchased the Airport Extreme... Connected to FIOS. Great experience - 2 story split/level home. Connected to FIOS. Then removed WIFI Repeater on the floor below and a hardwire Linksys in the Attic above. Signal is great. The 6 directional antenna focus seems to work. The iPad Application allows me to see all connected MAC Address (connected via multiple connects, quality of each connect). I am a bit surprised to find that of all things with potential connect (phones, roku, amazon, ipad and pcs)... the iphones are now the weakest link. Wifi stable to most devices.. it is the iphones that get lost and require reset

Great feedback...have FiOS and have been thinking of getting Verizon to upgrade the router, but maybe will go for a new Extreme since Verizon still doesn't offer 802.11ac. With a new iPad Air 2 and other equipment capable of ac may as well use that speed that I paid for.
