Bose soundlink color will no longer work with macbook

Ever since the new update, I cannot get the bluetooth speaker to work. I cannot find it on the sound output to choose and it works with all other devises (iPhone and iPad). I am very disappointed. Does anyone have a good fix for this? It is paired, it shows on both devises but the sound still does not come from the Bose, only the laptop.
