iPhone 5S running iOS 8.3, battery draining 6% in a minute

My iPhone 5S is having serious battery issues, it has been draining at a crazy pace. Today, I noticed this was the case so I grabbed my iPad and recorded a video of it. As you can see in the video, it drops 6% in 59 seconds, moving 2% at one time, then 4%. Also in the video, you can see nothing is running.

It is also charging pretty rapidly. In the video below, it goes from 51% to 52% in 42 seconds, then to 53% in 59 seconds

I noticed that it drained a portable battery super fast as well, and it gets extremely hot. Anyone having this experience with 8.3?

People have had problems like that with every version of iOS over almost 8 years. It's not common, but it does happen. It is usually either a failing battery or a misbehaving app.

I could see it being a rogue app, if it didn't charge at such a fast pace as well. I have had rogue apps (none were running this time) in the past that have drained the battery, but never where it would jump 6% in a minute, first from 31% to 29% (skipping 30%) and from 29% to 25% (skipping 28%, 27%, and 26%)
