iTunes store causes computer to freeze upon opening

Hey guys!

So I tried opening iTunes on my computer today to check if I owned a movie. I clicked on the "purchased" tab under my account name. It brought me to the iTunes store and as soon as the store opened, my computer froze. I couldn't move the mouse, open the task manager; nothing. I tried the same process several times, and it always freezes when I open the iTunes store. My library is fine, and doing anything but iTunes does not cause it to freeze. I have a windows computer FYI. If anyone knows a solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
