Magic Mouse keeps disconnecting. My Bluetooth Preference window looks completely different from the tutorial, and that is extremely annoying.

My Apple Magic Mouse keeps disconnecting lately, and it's very annoying.

So I go to the Apple Support Community to find a solution.

As always, I can never find the solution. It's just people complaining but not offering much. So I go to the Apple Support page to find something. This is what the Apple Support Community shows what the Bluetooth Preference looks like:

It tells me to click on the "gear" and then do this and that.... but this is what MY Bluetooth Preference windows show. I hate it when Apple shows something that looks completely different from mine. Where the bleeping heck is the "gear" icon on my preference window?
