my wi-fi doesn't work on my mac book pro

I have 2007 Mac Book Pro 2.56. After downloading the OS x upgrade my Wi-Fi doesn't work anymore. What do I need to make it work again. I used a Wi-Fi extension plug in device called Railink but that don't work either. I used it before the upgrade now it seems to be deleted by the upgrade. Is there a same Wi-Fi device that I can use ?
