Where can I get characters for the Apple symbols for - share, inlaid, download etc. for use in creating documentation?

Not sure what you are talking about.
If you are talking about the mini-icons in the Menus, take a screenshot of them.

Thanks Peter - what I now realise I need are the bar button icons in a format I can simply add to Pages developed documentation. I would rather get a set of these icons from somewhere than try and develop them myself by taking a screen shot.
I have found the Icons8 App and created some of the missing ones myself so thanks for the help Peter
Right mouse click on the Pages App and open the Package.
You may be able to find the App resources and UI in the included graphics.
