iOS calendar vs. MAC calendar autocomplete

Hi,

i ran across an interesting issue recently - our company runs an ical-Server under 10.6.8 SL Server

People can connect to that server remotely - this has been tested under iOS 8 as well as under

Mac OS X Yosemite and Mavericks. People can create calendar entries and add locations / ressources, add notes etc.

The difference between Mac OS clients and iOS clients though is that the autocomplete for invitees (people that

are known to the Directory) only works on Mac OS clients. iOS does only recognize contacts that are either stored in the contacts on the device,

or have been used before.

I assume it is no firewall issue since the lookup works fine under Mac OS. Is this a confirmed bug, or is there anything

special that has to be done under iOS to make this sync work?

Thanks in advance for your help

Felix
