My iPhone 5 does not get paired to my MAC book pro & Handoff is not working

I am using iPhone 5 and Macbook pro but both do not get paired via bluetooth.

also this is not supporting handoff. As i updated mac 1st 3 to 4 days hand off worked but after it only try left that how this will work.

help me to resolve this issue.

Both devices work over he same Wifi but showing this DEVICES are not on same WIFI net work.


Bluetooth connection fails to connect.

An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722


If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: Get help using Continuity with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite - Apple Support
