Changing Message History on Device or Across All Devices?

If I change my Message History to "Keep for 30 Days" on my iPad, will it change it only on my iPad? Or will it change (and in turn delete messages) across all of my devices using the same iCloud account (such as my iPhone)? Any help will be appreciated.
