CIFS command line syntax

Hi folks,

Using Mavericks 10.9.5

I'm having issues using SMB to DFS on the network. I need to find the command to use in a bash script.

From Finder, trying to connect to smb://server/folder/dfslink causes problems.

However, using cifs://server/folder/dfslink works really well.

Likewise, using the mount -t smbfs command causes the same problems.

Can anyone give advice on what the cifs command line would be?
