Uploading photos in Whatsapp fails!

I have the latest version of iOS installed in my iPhone 5 (16GB), which currently has 1.8 GB free.

Whenever I try to upload any photos in whatsapp (also latest version), whether in chats or for my whatsapp profile picture, it fails after a while.

However, after trying several times (many times) I can upload the photo....

What is the problem? Can anyone please help!

I recently restored all the whatsapp data from my old iPhone 3GS backup!

Whatsapp isn't an Apple product. Contact the Whatsapp developers for tech support on their products. You can find contact info in the App Store,
