How do I update to Lion when the download keeps failing?

The software update function tells me that 10.7.5 is available.

When I initiate the update, I get a message that it can't be saved.

AND that it will try again when I rerun software update... repeat.

My Macbook has 2 GB RAM.... is that too little?
