All of my contacts have been deleted from my phone

I have a 4S. All of my contacts suddenly disappeared! I've restarted my phone. I've gone into iCloud (contacts still there) changed a contact and gone back into phone and turned iCloud off and on again to where it loads. Still not there, only ones showing are from Facebook. Any ideas!
