removing apple id

hello from Iran

3 years ago someone in my university robbed my i phone 4 and this year she left it in university with a sheet that contains my name and adress on it and asked the person who will find the i phone to give it to me....now I have my old i phone but the robber have set an apple id on it,so I cant use it and its so sad....i wanna know how can I remove her account from my phone?I have the box and serial number of that...
