can I overcharge my ipad air 2 battery? My son is using it for school and keeps charging it when the battery is at 20 or 50% and I'm not sure if he's supposed to run the battery down before recharging?
Does anyone know what's best to prolong the battery life?

No, you can't overcharge it.

No. It does not matter when you charge or for how long.
