Can I get a glossy iBook from iPhoto?

Every time I make an iBook project through iPhoto I'm always disappointed by the results printed on paper stock with a satin finish. This satin finish mutes the colors and reduces the crispness of the photos. I enhance the photos in editing to add saturation, sharpness, etc but the inner printed pages always come out muted and a with a dark and gray cast over the photos making them look much less vibrant. I know my computer screen and the printed book will give much different results but is there a way to get a glossy or semi-glossy ibook so that the photos look more vibrant?

Thanks
