Q: Free iWork apps and Apple ID
I purchased an iPad mini 2 in December 2014 and it came with the free iWork apps pre-installed. When I set up the iPad I used my wife's Apple ID as we used to share that. Now however we have decided to use separate Apple IDs. No the iWork apps are not in my list of purchased apps but in my wife's. Now here is the thing she already had the iwork suite for free when she bought her iPad so have I lost my free licence or can I still get them for free?

Once the apps have been redeemed, then you would not be able to obtain the free copies of the iWork apps unless you purchase a new IOS device. Alternatively, you can setup and use Family Share which would allow the two of you to share content that has been downloaded from the App and iTunes Stores. Take a look at the link below to see if that is something that you would like to do.
