When saving new Library no external hard drive is found

Final Cut Pro X 10.2

Hey, when starting a New project and saving it (File>New>Library) the panel doesn't show the External Hard-drives. They are not recognized by FCP X! While the External Hard-drives are visible on the desktop. All happened after the update to FCP X 10.2 - iMac 27" > System MacOs X 10.10.3 Yosemite >8 GB RAM.

The following steps are taken. Reseted Hard-drive permissions > Reseted PRAM/VRAM memory > Reinstalled FCP X 10.2 from the AppStore and that all didn't workout. What could be wrong? Do you have any suggestion?

How are these drives formatted, and how are they connected to your mac? Directly, or via a network share? Libraries cannot be stored in drives mounted over AFS or SMB.

The problem has been solved by resetting the Finder Preferences. Finder>Preferences>Sidebar>Devices! When you know it, it's simple. I got the idea when opening the new Photos.app and tried importing a new batch photos, and couldn't find the external USB drive with all the photos.
