Help with iPhoto

someone please help me use the new iPhoto, Im really trying to figure it out unable to delete it.. to the last smart *** who answered me Im not whining

it says my photo are successfully downloaded , but can't find them I can see them but when Im on Facebook and click to attach it,, it's not there and the edit doesn't work ,, the old iPhoto was simple ,, Im sure it s something simple just point me in the right direction,,
