Copying footnotes into a blank document

I'm in the middle of writing my assignments for my university degree.

As well as referencing with footnotes, we also have to submit a bibliography.

On Microsoft Office I was able to highlight and copy all my footnotes in the set document into a blank document and sort accordingly, which saved me a lot of time, but on Pages I can't seem to do this.

I would really appreciate the help, otherwise it means manually typing out all my references again.

Thanks to anyone who can help me!!!!
