I tried to restore my MacBook 2010 but now when I turn the laptop on, I get a white screen with a gray circle that has a line through it. I can't get anything going to restore this computer. Can anyone help?

I'll request that your question be moved to the correct posting area. You've posted to the MacBook area in lieu of the MacBook (13-inch, 2006-2010) area.
Use the original Snow leopard installation disk to access Disk Utility>First Aid. Run verify and repair. If the disk cannot be repaired, it will have to be replaced.
