Getting an Error Opening Page message when trying to login to wifi hotspot - too many redirects occurred

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

Make sure Safari is closed

Open Settings->Safari->Clear History & Website Data

Now try and login again.

thanks - I had seen other people with problems like this, and tried that solution, but unfortunately it's still giving me the error message
