my quick time player and my final cut 7 are quitting unexpectedly. I recently got a thread that says that I have a virus. Please help. Thanks

You do not have a virus, but you may have installed Adware. Post an etrecheck report. Any popup asking for you to ring them, or contact them is a scam. Hopefully you did not respond.
