changed password on iphone - then how to on laptop?

Hi everyone - I changed my password on my phone, so now what do I do to my laptop? I'm getting the circle thing with the line through it. Thanks. If this is the wrong forum, please advise where to post. Thanks again.

We need more information. Where are you getting the circle thing with the line through it? Are you talking about your Apple ID password?
