iBooks will not open

Ever since I updated my iPad 3 to iOS 8.3 I am unable to access the books I have downloaded.


Has anyone had this problem and fixed it yet? I contacted the iTune store but they are sending me to the Apple Store. they first told me to delete the icon and reload it --- except it came with the iPad and is not an App.


Seemed to work fine before this upgrade... 😕

Is your iPad nearly full? Check Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage and be sure you have an absolute minimum of 10% (hopefully >15%) of your device's storage available.
