Giving away an iPod classic with music

We're going to Indonesia and I had the idea of giving my iPod classic which has lots of music on it, to someone when we're there.

Is there anything I should do, e.g. deregister it on iTunes ? I'd like the person to have the music, but not be able to use my account to add more😁
