restore problem

I'm trying to restore my 6 plus to a backup I made yesterday.

the restore process seems to go ok, I get the "restore complete" prompt.

I swipe to set up and when I get to the icloud login prompt the iphone reboots to a black screen with a white apple and it starts loading something.

Then Itunes pops up and says "welcome to your new iphone." and the phone gives me 3 options.

Set up as new

Restore from icloud

restore from iptunes

I've tried set up as new and restore from itunes.

Nothing will restore my phone to the state it was in yesterday. It keeps coming up as a new phone w/o my contacts photos videos and apps.

Any help?
