3rd Monitor with Apple iMac i5 and 30" Cinema?

I have an older generation iMac i5 21'5 '' connected to an older Apple 30" Cinema Display and it works well.

I just wondered (as I don't have access to them at this very minute) whether its possible to connect to either the iMac OR the 30" Cinema, a 3rd smaller screen as I am flipping between 3 programs at once constantly, and would prefer to see them all at the same time?

is this possible at all - or is 2 Monitors (well 1 I suppose coming from the iMac) is that the limit?

Thanks
