Guys I am not able to open my iPad it just stopped working is there any problem about that? So I tried opening I mean by pressing lock key and even I pressed it it is not opening can anyone help me how to resolve ??

press and hold home button and standby button till you see the apple logo.

You need to hold the Home and Power buttons down until the Apple logo appears. This can be up to 30 seconds, so don't release them too quickly.
Also, make sure that your device is charged. If you are not sure, hook it up to the charger for 15 minutes or so before trying the reset.
