I would like to get rid of the bookmark sidebar on my iPad when it is landscape mode

MY iPad is basically useless in landscape mode because the bookmark sidebar will not go away

iPad Air, iOS 8.3

Tap the solid blue bookmark icon (next to the URL field) and that window will go away.
