Keeps asking to update, yet I already have the latest version?

hi,

Every so often I get the usual iTunes update message It s asking to update to 12.1.2 version.

I accept and it installs, then on the check it has to install it again and again.

When I check via iTunes itself for updates, it says I already have the latest version?
