Bought Lion software to upgrade my Mac Mini Snow Leopard 10.6.2, however i don't have access to the App store. How am I supposed to download the new software??

Run the Software Update pane of System Preferences or click here.

You'll need to update your 10.6.2 Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 first to get the Mac App Store App.

The update should be available from the Apple Menu->Software Update option.

Once you've done that, you can then access the Mac App Store App to get the update to Lion.

Your ned to buy more RAM for your machine.

How much space do you have left?

The only way to get more GB is to buy a new larger hard drive, but that entails a migration of files and at a which may be too complex and unnecessary.

I would suggest you take the Mac Mini to an Apple Store, They can help you out with the update, and any space issues you may be having.

Stay away from Best Buy.

If you don't have enough free space on the hard drive, you will need to get an external drive and transfer some files from the Mini's internal drive to the external drive. You can then erase these files from the internal drive to free up some space. If this sounds too complicated, or you have no idea what files you can safely move and then delete, you will need to find an Apple Store or other authorized Apple service provider.
