I recently got an Ipad from my aunt, she stopped using it a long time ago so she gave it to me but she forgot her id and password, how do I fix this

You don't. Your aunt needs to remember or find out her apple ID and use that to unlock it.
It's known as the activation lock

She will have to do a password recovery.
She can go to this website https://appleid.apple.com/ and then do a recovery of the password via her email or security question.
Once she can sign into the apple id just delete the apple id from the iPad and then reset the iPad, ( settings, general, reset at the bottom, reset all content and settings )
When the iPad is started up again you can create a apple id for yourself and start downloading it. Remember to use an easy access email account that you can setup on the iPad itself.
