I'm wondering if it's possible to create a movie for Kickstarter using iMovie?

No matter which export format I choose in iMovie, I can't make my iMovie project available on Kickstarter. I've tried both iMovie 9/xx and 11. I've heard various opinions about this issue in Apple communities and around the 'web, but I'd like to know if somebody has successfully uploaded a file to KS from iMovie fairly recently.
