My iPhone got stolen and all I have from Apple is serial number of the device. In order to trace phone I would need IMEI. Is there any service similar to sndeep.info/ where I can find IMEI by using phone's serial number?

You'll need to connect your cell carrier. They would have the IMEI for the device associated with your cell number.
Other than that, if you still have the box, it should be on there as well.
The Police cannot track an iPhone with an IMEI number, the best they can do, is compare it to the IMEI number of any device they may find. But until such time, they find a device to compare it too, the IMEI will do nothing.

They should be able to give you the IMEI. However, they will most likely not be willig to try to track the phone without a court order. They generally only do that if someone's life is in danger.

So what you're saying is that I can't do nothing 😟. I did go through entire article FelipeV posted but my case is not covered there. FindMyiPhone was first thing I tried but no help either. Basically I should give up and forget about that phone. Such a shame 😟

You cannot trace an iPhone with the IMEI number.
It is actually police who said they could if I would provide IMEI. So that's why it is very important for me to find it. Any ideas (beside iTunes backup which I don't have unfortunately)?
The police are wrong. The only way to track an iPhone is to use the Find My iPhone feature. An IMEI number won't do you any good for locating a device...which is what I already alluded to.

If you have never synched your phone with iTunes on a computer, there is no way to recover the IMEI and serial number, other than having the original package or the phone itself.
