Show recent no longer working

Since upgrading to Pages 5.5.3. I can no longer right-click from the Dock to show recent files. The command is there to Show Recent, but when I click on it, the screen blurs and nothing happens. If I click Open (or left-click on the Dock), the Finder opens with all my files, but that's an extra step.

Also, once I have a document open, I can't open a second document from the Dock. The Open option isn't there. If I want to view another, the pull-down File menu under Open Recent says "Clear Menu" instead of listing recent files. The only way to view files is to select Open and go back to Finder.

This is an issue only my iMac. My MacAir version still works the way it always has. Both use Yosemite 10.10.3, and both are upgraded to Pages 5.5.3.

Thanks for suggestions.

Hi Elantra,

Have a look in System Preferences > General > Recent Items.

If that shows None, change it to what you want.
