some internet pictures are white/blank

I use tumblr-blog daily, and for the past couple months on my brand new since October 2014 the retina pro. Most pictures are blank, it wont show anything. my laptop is updated on everything, using google chrome updated to newest, firefox and even safari I've encountered this problem. any ideas?
