How do I must care the battery of my MBP Retina?

Hi!

I have a MBP 13" Retina since october'14. I Always use the battery, except when the level its low (obviously) and need to charge it. I was reading about this, and this type of use can damage the battery soon, but I read too that if I use the power charger with the battery at 100% the battery can die because the power charger always is charging the battery.

I read https://www.apple.com/batteries/ but I not understand yet what is the best option.

Where is the best method for maximize the battery life?.

Thanks!.

PS: sorry, my english is terrible.

Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always plugged in, make sure that at least twice a month

run it on battery until battery charge level drops to about 50-40%.

Please don’t discharge the battery completely. Discharging battery completely will reduce battery health.

The use patterns and conditions of how the computer set, will affect the battery life.

If you have brightness in display set high, and run games or processor/graphic intense

software, that will cause battery to run low faster than if you choose less intense action.

{Avoid upgrading the OS X in hopes of adding battery life, since other factors in your use

of the computer may not apply to this concept. Be sure to backup your works and have

an off-computer archive of your files, and be able to recover should the hard drive fail.}

Anyway, hopefully the content of these links will provide a greater idea of what else you

may need to look into for better results and care of the battery & adapter in your MB.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
