MacBook Pro Charger

Earlier today I had noticed that I had a soda (Monster) that had exploded in my backpack and got everything wet. One thing I noticed was that it got my MagSafe 60W Macbook Pro Charger. I cleaned it and then took the wild chance of trying it. When I plugged it in, it said, "connecting and not charging", I would buy a new one, but they are $80. will Apple repair them? I don't have a warranty any more. I would really like to not have to buy a new one. Thanks!

Apple do not repair chargers, you will probably be buying a new one.

OWC sells them. This is a used one, but the vendor has an excellent reputation:

I recently purchased a second hand MBP from them. The condition they described was very much understated.
