Motion 5. 2 issues with mouse!

Ok, so i upgraded my Mac to OS x Yosemite 10.10.3 and all was working perfect.

I then proceeded to upgrade to Motion 5.2.

It opens fine after a time and the 3d text is amazing but the problem I'm having is when i import media into the time line (on the screen) and try to move it round the screen the mouse does nothing, I can however adjust it via the inspector .

Am i missing a setting or is it a fault, Its also a little glitchy (slow) when going through the inspector menus.

2 x 2.26 GHz quad core

20GB ram

Ati Radeon HD 5870

Motion 5, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

What type is this other "media"? What is the frame size? Are you working off the system drive or a secondary drive? And what are the Resolution and Quality settings in the Render menu? Turn off anything in the Render menu that you don't actually need.

Hi Ben, The Media i have tried is Hi Res Jpegs and pngs. I also tried the text mode in motion 5.

Done a fresh install of Motion 5, still the same.

Im working of a network drive. i will try a local drive and check Resolution and Quality settings in Render menu.
