my imac has wrong information for my iCloud account. How do I change it?

Originally, my iCloud account was set up with a me.com email ID. I subsequently changed it to my gmail email address and I purchased additional storage up to 20 GB. However the me.com Icloud shows I've just about used up my 5 GB of storage and need to buy more. What can I do??

Thank you!

Nancy

If your Apple ID is an Apple address - @mac.com, @me.com or @icloud.com - you cannot change it to another address. It sounds as if you managed to create a new, separate, iCloud account using the gmail address. If you then bought storage on that it naturally would not show on the me.com account. You can just cancel the storage subscription as from the next monthly payment and purchase more storage on the me.com account.
