iBooks "Purchased" showing blank screen

When using iBooks on my iPad mini, no information on my, or my husband's (family sharing), purchases is coming up on the "purchased" screen, so I can't download a recent purchase to read. My iPhone is working fine. I have also checked my husband's iPad Air, which has the same problem.

I have tried shutting everything down and powering down fully, but no difference.

Any ideas Would be greatfully received, reading from an iPhone is not ideal
