I am trying to message a picture to iPhoto, but it keeps asking for a google.talk password. Tried everything cannot find where to obtain google.talk password. TY

Why not just copy the photo to the desktop and then import it form there?
I copied the photo to the desktop, but I don't see how I can text the photo with the picture on the desktop?

How does texting come into that? If the image on the desktop and you want it in iPhoto just drop it on the iPhoto window.
Sorry, I meant message a picture from iPhoto. In iPhoto it says "share" and then the option to "message. I keep getting a prompt for a password for google. talk. I never signed up for google.talk. I see a lot of people with the same issue. TY
That would be something to do with the Messages app. I'd ask on the Using Mac OS X forum for your version of the OS.
