3rd Gen unit not responding?

Itunes not recognizing Apple TV unit when connected to my MAC. Unit is a 3rd Gen., with the White LED constantly blinking and unit will no longer respond to remote.

You need to restore via iTunes


Make sure steps are followed exactly (remove all cabled, connect micro USB, reconnect power). Connect directly to computer. Try a different cable

Thanks "vazandrew". As much as I did not want to think the Micro USB Cable was no good, even though I had just received it through the mail, I must admit that was the case. After using another cable which was a charging cable, and supposedly was not to be used for this process. Never-the-less, the prompt came up immediately via the itunes application.
