Thank you. My concern is that articles often refer to early-than-yosemite updates.
I was told by an apple salesperson that thunderbolt was the cable to use, but most articles
don't mention yosemite. I am sure it will be fine, just trying to avoid frustration and having
to return the cable. I really appreciate your help.
There is no difference in the Thunderbolt cable related to Yosemite or Mavericks or any other OS X version. Issues related to the cable have to do with using them as video cables. Pre-2011 Macs that had Thunderbolt-style ports only supported video and were not usable for migration.
