keyboard backlight stopped working after installing yosimatie

Hi, I have a problem with my mid 2012 Macbook Air.The backlight on my keyboard will not work since the last Yosemite software update.The F5 and F6 keys work like their dimming and brighting the keyboard(this shows on the display),dont light.Tried resetting the PRAM and SMC,but didn't work.Anything else i can try? ***** not a backlight when using when dark:(
