When holding my iPhone upright the message space is on the bottom where it should be but the answers come across as if I've turned my phone?

when holding my iPhone upright the message space is is supposed to be but the text replies show up like I've turned my phone around?

went to the apple store and the salesperson told me its a "bug" they're working on but showed me how to fix it but I can't remember what she did because it's been awhile since she fixed it. Any ideas? thanks!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

Hello M.Tucker2012,

It sounds to me like you want to use the Rotation Lock feature on your iPhone. To do that, swipe up to bring up Control Center and the tap on the button in the top right corner to lock the screen in portrait. This will make it to where the screen will stay even though you are rotating it.
