Q: 10.10.3 Installer is failing on MacBook Pro early 2008

Installer is failing on MacBook Pro early 2008 with 10.10.2 as the current system. I have tried both the software update and manually downloaded combo update. I have tried it in Safe Mode and in Root Mode. Results are the same every time.
